BNB Manufacturing was founded in 1978 in Winsted, Connecticut as a manufacturer of
small machined parts for the Aerospace Industry. While maintaining the initial aerospace
component focus, BNB expanded its manufacturing capabilities into the Power Generation
market and has grown into a strong mid-sized manufacturing technology company serving
the needs for precision machined components for both markets. Over the last 30 years
BNB has made over 2000 different parts and assemblies for a number of major OEM's and
Businesses throughout North America.
BNB operates at a constant high level of innovation and over the 30 years has become very
proficient at making continuous, incremental improvements in production processes and
component design. Teamwork is a key part of that success. Our staff of professional
engineers are trained in developmental concurrent engineering and work closely with
customers throughout a project to achieve a quality product at a cost-effective price.
BNB has recently launched a company-wide Lean Manufacturing Initiative, utilizing the
intellectual capacity of everyone in the organization, to further refine its manufacturing
processes and improve productivity and cycle times. Work is also underway to improve
supply chain mastery, joining the Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) and working more
closely with both customers and vendors in managing overall supply chain activities and
responsiveness.
